4 Summer trends to have on your radar

The weather is warming up and the sun is starting to come out of hibernation, which means that summer is well on its way! Whether you plan on traipsing through Europe or sweltering in the sunny UK it’s absolutely key that you’re rocking the latest trends to your backyard barbeques and Mykonos beach parties.

The ombré trend has been happening in the background for some time now with the huge ombré hair obsession that took place a few years ago but now it’s back in the spotlight with pastels and brights. Sinners Attire has given us a sneak peek of their Summer18 drop and its full of bright and colourful ombré tees that work perfectly with just about any summer event.

Vertical stripes

Patterns and prints are a staple part of any sunny season but while floral motifs and Hawaiian tees are to be expected but you don’t exactly see vertical stripes dominating the Summer scene. Except this year they are with vertical stripes flooding the menswear runways. This versatile trend doesn’t just work for your casual beach parties but can be incorporated into workwear and everything in between.

Sports luxe

The althleisure trend has been around for quite some time now both in the spotlight and background of each new season and it shows no signs of slowing down. Rather than just a general leaning towards athletic wear, we’re seeing a more specific trend emerging inspired by professional sport. Brands such as BADR Sport are designing jersey style pieces that imitate pro teams. Style these pieces with your freshest sneakers to really embrace the look.

Tonal outfits

Matching sets are a cornerstone of streetwear fashion but that look is generally reserved for more muted colours such as greys and blacks. This Summer season we’ll be seeing this tonal look turned up. Think all white, all yellow or all pink outfits in different or same shades. For serious Summer vibes you can’t go past some white on white linen to keep you cool in the warmer months.
